Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe Ltd. has been informed that an issue relating to motor vehicle safety exists in certain Cooper tyres, identified as follows:

The following illustration shows where to find the DOT information on a sample of one of the affected tyres. The affected DOT serial numbers are detailed in the above table (beginning with R7---- and ending with a four digit date code (2-digit week and 2-digit year) between 0617 and 0717 inclusive, in this example 0617.
Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe Ltd. is recalling all of the tyres with the identification number(s) above. Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe Ltd. has determined that the affected tyres may develop an in-service audible noise, unsatisfactory ride condition, belt separation, or distortion in the tread area that if undetected may ultimately result in a tyre failure leading to the loss of vehicle control and increase the risk of a possible crash. If you believe you have an affected tyre, please immediately contact the dealer from which you purchased your tyres to arrange an inspection and a replacement of any affected tyres free of charge.
